Parents or guardians of all students must fill out a consent form before attending lessons, this form must state clearly the full name and address of the student, any emergency contact numbers and medical conditions. Once signed the parent/guardian has then accepted responsibility for all of our policies including the following: Giving staff permission to : Administer first aid Apply plasters Take photographs and videos which may be used on our website and for future promotional purposes.
Fees and Payment
All fees are due at or before the first class of each term. These dates must be adhered to. Any student in financial difficulties MUST speak to a member of staff to discuss this and make plans for payments by instalment. Any fees not paid by the 3rd week of term then they will be subject to a 10% increase, to cover additional administration costs. If fees are not received by half term then the student will lose their space and will be refused entrance to class. Please note: You are responsible for payment for your student’s classes WHETHER OR NOT YOUR STUDENT ATTENDS CLASS until the time you notify the staff VIA WRITTEN NOTICE. Please do not rely on your student to verbally let us know that he/she will no longer be attending classes.
What to Wear
Boys or Girls may wear T-shirts and shorts/ tracksuit bottoms/ leggings OR Leotards for Girls. NO chewing gum or dangling jewellery. Hair should be pulled neatly and securely away from the face so that is stays up for the entire workout. Girls should not wear bows or other large hair ornaments that may cause discomfort during activity. All students should have activity-appropriate footwear during class. Jewellery should not be worn during classes. PLEASE LEAVE JEWELLERY ARTICLES AT HOME. Integr8 staff will not be responsible for ANY items that may be lost or stolen. Be sure your student’s personal items are marked with their name.
Cancellation of classes
Integr8 Dance reserves the right to cancel classes in extreme circumstances, e.g. Snow, teacher illness and will replace classes if possible within the same term or following term. Refunds will only be made if we cannot replace classes and parents do not have the option of refund or replacement. In the case of cancellation we will try to notify all parents of students by phone or email and inform the relevant class venue.
The protection of the students of Integr8 Dance is of paramount importance and we work to ensure that all staff are trained and experienced in the subjects they teach. Students are encouraged to discuss any concerns and these will be recorded in a Log Book.
All students should arrive 5 minutes before (no earlier please) to his/her scheduled class time.
Please pick up your student on time.
Please inform us if you know you will be late picking up your student.
All students must stay within the premises until collected by an adult (unless otherwise stated) and all students under 5 years must be accompanied by an adult.
Parents are not allowed into the class unless invited by the teacher.
Registers are kept of attendance at classes and the school keeps an up-to-date list of emergency contact numbers for each student.
All staff hold a first aid box at each venue and all teachers employed by Integr8 are qualified to administer first aid.
All teachers who work with Integr8 Dance have a current CRB enhanced disclosure for this position.
All teaching staff hold recognised dance qualifications and attend relevant courses to update on new work.
Shows and performances
All students of the school are invited to perform an end of year show to showcase what they have learnt. Parents must sign a form one term prior to the show and agree to encourage regular attendance to class and to pay for the hire or purchase of costumes.
Only licensed Chaperones are allowed backstage during rehearsals and performances and you must sign your child in and out of backstage.
Further Training/other schools
Any students wishing to pursue a career in dance are supported and encouraged by the school. Integr8 can advise on suitable vocational and professional training colleges and can assist in entrance requirements for auditions.
If any student who is a member of one of Integr8’s Dance Crews or Competition Teams and wishes to attend another dance school whilst training at Integr8, must inform a member of staff first so that she can determine whether or not the school in question abides by the guidelines set down by the Council for Dance Education.
Safe dance practice and professional code of conduct is of paramount importance to the school and although we are fully supportive of other accredited schools we do not support schools with unqualified teaching staff.
Integr8 staff retain the right to expel a student for unruly behaviour. The School shall not be liable for any loss or damage to the student’s person or property occurring on venue premises. All students attend classes at own risk.
Health & Safety
Integr8 Dance aims to keep the working environment of the studios, tidy, clean and free from hazards. Fire Evacuation Procedure All Integr8 staff abide by each individual class venue’s fire procedure. Accidents and First Aid Accidents during class are reported in the accident book. Simple first aid is applied but if a serious problem is identified then the parent/guardian is informed and the student is taken home or an ambulance is called, whichever is deemed appropriate first.
All teachers who work with Integr8 Dance are trained and qualified. Teachers in their own individual classes carry out their own visual risk assessments on a continual basis and are responsible for their own safe practice in class by keeping up with continual professional development via course and reading material. Teachers are also responsible for taking class registers and following evacuation procedures. Records of names, addresses and contact numbers are kept by the Office Manager on a database and contact numbers are kept by the staff.
All new students sign or have their guardians sign a registration form which supplies their contact details and medical history, giving various permissions as well as agreeing to the school policies.
Integr8 Dance have an Employers and public liability insurance on a company policy. For off site classes such as shows and presentations, these policies still apply however the general building policy is the responsibility of the venue and we would carry out a risk assessment when entering the venue.

As legal the guardian of my designated student(s) (student(s)), I hereby consent to all student(s) participating in the this facility’s program(s). I recognize that potentially severe injuries can occur in any activity involving height or motion, including tumbling and related activities including cheerleading, tumble tramp, stunting, pyramids, dance, gymnastics and physical activity in general. I understand that it is the express intent of all staff and personnel to provide for the safety and protection of my student(s) and, in consideration for allowing my student(s) to use these facilities, I hereby COVENANT NOT TO SUE and FOREVER RELEASE this facility, affiliated and partner companies and organizations, property owners and lessors, staff, contractors, subcontractors, teachers, coaches, owners, directors and other members involved in this facility’s program(s), from all liability and for any and all damages and injuries suffered by my student(s) during instruction, supervision, and/or control during any and all classes or extra activities.

I represent and warrant that if I am purchasing something or paying for a service from this facility or from other merchants through this facility that (i) any credit card or bank account draft (ACH Draft) information I supply is true and complete, (ii) charges incurred by me will be honored by my credit card company or financial institution, and (iii) I will pay the charges incurred by me at the posted prices, including any applicable taxes, fees, and penalties.
I hereby authorize (if online payment is made or autopay information is provided) this facility to charge my ACH draft, or credit card account. I understand that a 30 day written notice is required to terminate billing and I am responsible for payment whether or not my student attends classes until I notify this facility in writing to drop my student from class(es).
Should I dispute a charge through my financial institution this will constitute a breach of contract possibly resulting in, but not limited to, penalties, additional fees, collection, legal action, and/or termination of any and/or all current and future services.
