As a schoolgirl Keely attended Williams School of Dance in Portsmouth, and Southampton Arts. After leaving school she trained at Brian Rogers’ “Performers” dance college in London for a year. At 17, Keely left England and travelled the world as a professional dancer.
She danced in Paris, Italy, and cruised the Caribbean for 9 months. Keely dances for the British Army, entertaining troops in Northern Ireland, Belize and the Falkland Islands. She danced in pantomimes and Summer seasons with top entertainers such as Freddie Starr, Michael Barrymore, Hale and Pace, Billy Connelly, Shane Ritchie, Joe Pasquale and Jim Davidson.
Later on in her career she turned her attention to choreography and teaching. Keely successfully ran her own dance agency that supplied dancers for shows, nightclubs and promotions. Whilst doing this, she was also teaching for Southampton Arts.
